CHA's Mission is to advance the health of individuals and communities by leading, representing, and serving hospitals and their related healthcare organizations.
|
The Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization comprising hospitals and health systems, related organizations, and other members with a common mission of advancing the health of the people of Connecticut.
An advocacy organization founded in 1919 and currently serving more than 170 members, CHA is one of the most diverse and respected hospital associations in the nation. As the primary representative of the hospital community in Connecticut, CHA plays a significant role in influencing the public policy environment. Based on the principle that caring for patients is the primary mission of its member hospitals and health systems, CHA seeks to promote responsible public policy, encourage public accountability, provide access to care for all members of society, continuously improve patient safety and the quality of healthcare, improve the financial health of hospitals, and foster an appropriate dialogue and collaboration between those who provide and those who pay for healthcare services.

|
CHA is also committed to supporting its member hospitals with high quality education programs, a wide range of data and analytical services, a full service regional group purchasing organization and a state-of-the-art data networking service, that offers innovative information technology solutions and support for organizations where data transfer and security cannot be compromised. Additional information about CHA may be obtained on our website at www.cthosp.org.
We strive to maintain CHA's reputation as a preferred place of employment and work to build and sustain a positive, high-performance, member-focused culture that is built on clear operating principles.
