The Registered Nurse (RN) plans and provides comprehensive nursing care, including executing physician orders, dispensing and administering medications, and assisting physicians in examinations and treatment of patients. The Registered Nurse applies nursing and supervisory techniques required in the care, treatment and referrals of inmates/residents. This position also performs procedures such as intramuscular injections, blood pressure and CPR, and obtains and transmits urine, blood and other specimens for lab analysis. All applicants must be graduates from an accredited college or university with a degree in nursing. Must be licensed and/or certified in the field of specialty in the state of employment. One year of professional nursing experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
